Art Classes in SJCS

Students aged 7-14, will learn the techniques and methods in drawing, and color theories in painting, from fundamental to advanced knowledge in Art. The class will be based on each student's own level, each Student will get his/her own reference and learn by following the teacher in a step-by-step method that allows the students to see works take shape from beginning to end. Students also will learn how to use different mediums in drawing, like Graphite, Color Pencils, Ink Pen, and Charcoal. Acrylic painting, water-based color pencil painting in painting class.

Students whose age is 14-18, could learn to draw any work of art they want, the teacher will guide each student along each step in the process to create their own artwork in different mediums in drawing or painting that are mentioned above. The artworks can be used in a portfolio for college use. High school students can take AP Art classes with the teacher for preparing artworks for their portfolios.
